I am a Postdoctoral Researcher working in the AI4CommSci Lab at the MGH Institute of Health Professions under the supervision of Dr. Joshua Hartshorne. I have a strong background of training in Developmental Psycholinguistics and expertise in the areas of reference comprehension and discourse processing. My research explores early online language comprehension and word learning, as well as how children's developing event representations contribute to these processes.
Before my current position, I was a Postdoctoral Researcher in the Language Learning and Meaning Acquisition (LLaMA) Lab at Purdue University, where I was advised by Dr. Arielle Borovsky. I earned a Ph.D. in Psychology from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. During my graduate degree, I worked with Professors Cynthia Fisher and Renee Baillargeon. Before joining UIUC, I received a M.Sc. in Psychology from Queen's University in Kingston, Ontario, where I was advised by Dr. Mark Sabbagh.
